Who we are

icanyoucantoo is a grassroots social enterprise established in 2016. For a decade we’ve been levelling the playing field for young people from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds – through intensive coaching and mentoring, laptops and learning resources, free tutoring, and a humanitarian programme that delivers hot meals and hygiene essentials to vulnerable families.

Every part of what we do started in a real moment, with real people.

Our Mentoring and Coaching Programme began after a young Black boy told us he didn’t think he was allowed into London’s Financial District, Canary Wharf.

Our hot meals programme began after a young child in our community died from malnutrition.

We’re still on the ground today, in the same places, with the same hands.

Recognised at the highest levels

icanyoucantoo’s founder, Nilesh B. Dosa MBE, was awarded an MBE in the 2024 New Year Honours for Services to Social Equality. In 2025, icanyoucantoo received The King’s Award for Voluntary Service – placing Nilesh among very few individuals in British history to hold both honours. Forbes called him “the man turning inequality into opportunity for young people.”
